The Soham Leadership Summit, held on March 17th, 2024, marked a pivotal moment for all SLP members of KMICS and BJR. Designed to engage students in understanding and shaping the future landscape of their careers, this summit provided invaluable insights on navigating career paths. The day commenced with a spiritual touch, featuring a soul-soothing prayer and meaningful slokas recited by SLP members. This serene start set a positive tone for the event, further elevated by the lighting of the Diyas by honorable dignitaries, symbolizing the inauguration with auspicious vibes.
Adding to the event’s charm, the Suswara team graced the gathering with a beautiful rendition of ‘Garudagamana Tava’ and ‘Ramachandrayana.’ Their melodious performance enchanted the audience, creating a harmonious start to the session. As the summit progressed, participants were introduced to the key figures behind Soham and SLP, including Sri G. Vishnu Vardhan, Founder of Proquest Consultancy Services Ltd., Sri Daniel Jackson, HR Lead at Tania Platforms Limited, and Sri Dr. Ch. Kishore Kumar, Ph.D. in HRM and Professor at Vivekananda Government Degree College. Their presence and introductions added immense value to the discussions, bringing diverse and expert perspectives to the table.
A thought-provoking panel discussion ensued, where Mr. G. Vishnu Vardhan, Mr. Kishore Kumar, and Mr. Daniel Jackson shared their experiences. They emphasized the importance of maintaining focus, confidence, and eye contact during interviews, while also stressing the significance of building essential career skills and staying committed to one’s main goals. Their insights provided the attendees with a comprehensive understanding of recruitment and career planning. The event was further enriched by the presence and wisdom of Dr. J. Nageswara Garu, the Director of KMICS, who shared his thoughts during the proceedings.
In addition to the insightful discussions, the yoga team showcased their mastery through an advanced yoga demonstration, performing a series of impressive asanas. Their skill and dedication were evident as they gracefully executed each pose, inspiring the audience with their remarkable abilities. The summit also celebrated the winners of various competitions, with a prize distribution ceremony honoring the victors of the running race, Kabaddi, and cricket competitions, recognizing their hard work and achievements.
