Reforms in high school Education
06th November, 2022 – A Sunday that broke many stereotypes and opened our eyes to the future of the Indian Education System. In our first Leadership Summit, we have invited three extraordinary personalities to have a panel discussion on the theme – “Reforms in High School Education”.The discussion unfolded beautifully as we got to know about what “Education” means from each of the panellists who are into diverse professions – Sri Dr. Ravikanth Rao garu, worked as DEO of Siddipet, Adilabad, Mancheriyala district and has 30 years of experience in teaching field; Sri Satyanarayana Reddy garu, Principal of Keshav Memorial High School; Sri Madhav Reddy Yadma garu, Secretary of Akshara Vanam Vandemataram Foundation.
They said that Corporate schools have changed the mindset of people. Children are now told that there isn’t enough time to pursue any extracurricular activities like Yoga, Art, Music, Sports etc and all their focus should now purely be into studying and scoring highest marks in the class. We had conducted the summit mainly to discuss the reforms mentioned in “National Education Policy 2020” and how this policy will impact the Education System in India? Our dear mentor, Sri Sahadev sir, admired how well we organised the Offline Leadership Summit for the first time in the Soham Leadership Program
It is these accomplishments that inspire us and keep us motivated to push our boundaries and come up with more magnificent events! The discussion about our Education System was so powerful and influential. India is treated as VISHWA GURU in the world and it’s our duty to spread awareness about the education system and provide equal opportunities for everyone.
