What Young India Wants is a book with articles on different aspects of developments that can be done by today’s youth in our country (India). It is written by one of the famous author’s Mr. Chetan Bhagat who was born on 22 April, 1974. He is an Indian author, columnist and a youtuber. He has started his career as an investment banker in Hong Kong and later quit the job to pursue writing. There are about five of his novels which got adapted as films, one of them being, the movie ‘3 idiots’ taken from the novel “Five point someone”.

He was featured in the list of world’s 100 most influential people of 2010 in the Artists category by Times magazine. 

In this book, Chetan Bhagat mainly focuses on Young India and their need for the enhancement of the nation. The motto of this novel is to transform India from a developing country to a developed country. 

While reading the book, I felt motivated to contribute to my country.

He wrote the novel in such a way that anyone who would read this book would certainly try to put efforts for the development of the country. The content that has been written showcased alarming situations that have to be looked into by the citizens. Each article signifies the unbelievable truths that have reduced the progression in India.

After reading the book I became an admirer of Chetan Bhagat and looking forward to reading many more of his books. I suggest every youngster to read this book and know how capable and responsible it is for achieving a developed country.
