This book tries to explain why some people have great fortunes while others fail to make ends meet. Since its launch in 193, this has always been the reference book for people who want to get rich.

The Book in Three Sentences:

1. Napoleon Hill researched more than forty millionaires to find out what made them the men that they were.

2. In Think and Grow Rich, he imparts that knowledge to you.

3. Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.

This Book contains total of 13 principles :

1st principle – BURNING DESIRE

To attain any goal, you must have a burning desire.

2nd principle – FAITH

Spells out that to develop the emotion of faith, which is necessary to transmute your desires into their physical or monetary equivalent.

3rd principle – AUTO SUGGESTIONS

Tells to utilise the self-directed communication.

4th principle – SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

Says general knowledge, or that typically taught in schools, will not help to accumulate riches, nor will specialized knowledge on its own. 

5th principle – IMAGINATION

Describes the unique faculty of humankind that shapes, forms, and gives action to desire. 

6th principle – ORGANIZED PLANNING

Explains that we should develop a Perfect Plan to create something.

7th principle – DECISION

Says productive decisions ensure your success.

8th principle – PERSISTENCE

Explains the sustained effort necessary to induce faith.

9th principle – POWER OF MASTERMIND

Individuals can attain and apply power through the formation of a MasterMind group.

10th principle – THE MYSTERY OF LOVE TRANSMUTATION 

Describes  the love transmutation and entails the channeling of carnal desires and their corresponding.

11th principle – THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND

Explains subconscious mind as the intermediary between the finite mind of man and Infinite intelligence that enables humans to tap into the forces of the Universal Mind

12th principle – THE BRAIN

Describes the brain as it is capable of picking up vibrations of thought which are released by other brains.

Final 13th principle – THE SIXTH SENSE

Explains The Sixth Sense refers to the faculty of the subconscious also termed the Creative Imagination.

The Seven Major Negative Emotions (To be avoided):

  • Fear
  • Jealous
  • Hatred
