This book is about meditation and how it is important in our routine life. The book is not about the technique but about the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, who was an entirely different class to have lived and spent time on earth.

This book was a short read, however each and every page is beamed with wisdom and irrefutable truth! It brings out the most important talks of Swami Vivekananda on meditation. It covers good points on meditation techniques, yoga and values.

This book does not just merely state practical ways of meditation, but explains the philosophy behind it and the ultimate goal of meditation.

Meditation is more important in our daily life. By doing meditation we can gain a new perspective about stressful situations. It increases creativity and imagination along with patience and tolerance. Addedly, it reduces negative emotions.

 

This book is awesome and an interesting one. It is a very concise and strongly recommended read.
