Pochampally - The Silk City Of India
t was on 25th September, 2022, that our SLP batch organised its first Outdoor Activity. Firstly, we attended the powerful speech of Sri Vasudeva Sarma sir at iFocus and kick-started our journey to Sanghi Temple full of energy. We experienced a very positive atmosphere with the temple’s aura. The recitation of Slokas by our Suswara team in the temple seemed very magical and special.In addition to that, we restarted our journey towards “Pochampally – The Silk City of India” with loads of excitement. It was a fascinating place where we saw the weavers and their machines.We were surprised to know its history, process and the hard work put in by them. We interviewed a weaver and got answers for many of our questions. leo.

It was our 1st Outdoor Activity, and there were some mistakes due to which we faced some difficulties. But with this, we learned not to repeat those mistakes and organise well the next time. We had lots of fun with our lovely leaders. We hope the upcoming events will be more successful. It was all possible because of our coordinators and our mentor,Sahadev sir.
