Book Title: The Lion,The Witch and the Wardrobe
Author: C.S Lewis
I’ve reread this book many times and I love it more each time. This is an adventure book that everyone should read. This book is telling the story of four children during World War two. They go into a magical world called Narnia that is frozen in eternal winter. Narnia is under the thumb of the white witch. When she turns Lucy’s dear friend to stone, Lucy’s brother, Edmund joins the side of the White Witch. Hope of their problems to be solved are yet to be found.
I loved the characters in this book. They all connected with me. I really like that they each had problems and could connect with each one they had and relate to it. For example, Lucy was dealing with some bad treatment from her brother. I felt that I was worried about Lucy and what happened to her.
I absolutely attracted with the magnificent pustory C.S Lewis came up with. I really felt happy the way in which he chose to execute it. What I understand about this story is the development of the problems; we start with small problems, then it builds up to more problems. I also really like that the writer decided to have characters react to this realistically, which made me fall in love with the story. I was very interested in watching the story unfold and how the characters reacted to it.
However, there are some things that may be over the top. Christianity is present through some events in the story and women are often overlooked. That is what the writer believed when he was writing the story and will NOT change my love for it.
Everyone should read this historically book. This is my first book and my favorite book You should give this book a try. You can’t go wrong with it!
