GURU VANDANA-2K21
On the onset of this one-year committed journey in Soham Leadership Program 2021-22, our very first event was organized – GURU VANDANA.
To begin this life-changing journey, one needs blessings from their well-wishers. On this note, nine teachers were invited: three teachers from each team of Saahas, Pravaah, and Samarpan. The Chief Guest of the event, Smt.MadhuShalini, Principal of GBHS CPL Amberpet School, Hyderabad was also cordially invited.
On 25th July 2021, we celebrated Guru Vandana on the occasion of Guru Purnima.
As the name suggests, we welcomed our Gurus to our Soham Leadership Program to bless us in the inception of our journey. The participation was overwhelming and this is how it progressed :
Firstly, the Human Excellence team sweetened the event with their slokas. To tell the importance of allegiance to teachers, Guruvashtakam was sung. The teachers were then gracefully invited into the event. After telling everyone about Guru Purnima, there was a briefing about the Soham Leadership Program 2021-22 and its goals.
The teachers were then thrilled by the collection of school memories. Students displayed their talents like singing, drawing, arts and poems to the audience. On a similar note, the teachers enthusiastically shared their talents like photography, singing, arts, poems and story-telling.
Each teacher is special and to convey this, the students made a beautiful gratitude video, thanking their teachers for their immeasurable care and support.
To mark this auspicious moment, the nine teachers were presented with mementos by our special guest, Mrs. Madhushalini gaaru. All the students presented a memento to her in the end. The mementos were shared personally with each of them after the event.
The choir group sang laurels about teachers. Similar to how a teacher blesses a student, it is in the heart of the student that their teacher be happy and ever-inspiring. So, these three blessings were given by the students to the teachers saying “Thadhaasthu” :
1. May the teachers continue to inspire the students like they do.
2. May the teachers in all Vidhyalayas be happy forever.
3. May the teachers continue to contribute in making this world a better place to live in.
The teachers blessed all the students for a successful journey with an year full of learnings and evolvement. They spoke their hearts out with the audience.
All our teachers, guests and well-wishers were thanked for joining the celebrations. A virtual photo was clicked to commemorate the benedictory celebration.
The event closed with closing prayers and ever-lasting smiles that shine all through the miles 🙂
