This was our first short and sweet event organized by the Events Committee. This would remain special for us as this was an event planned at the dawn of the day and got executed and celebrated by the dusk of the same day. Our Captain has brought all of us together in planning for the event and made sure we would implement the plan at any cost. All our team members were apprehensive about the program whether the plan would work out or not and will everyone be available for the program on time. But as we received confirmation from many of the leaders about their presence, we were all set for the celebrations in the evening. We were just amazed by the team coordination that prevailed among us while working out for the evening. Everyone took up roles enthusiastically and contributed their part to the evening celebrations. Within no time, we prepared an invitation card, circulated it in the group, and finally, the celebrations were on.

The program started with the opening prayers by Sai Sisters, then our host and Captain, Shrutha Keerthi, introduced and greeted all the gurus and students who joined the celebrations. 

Each student had shared their experience with their favorite Guru and the qualities that they adore and inspire the most in them. There was a fun quiz competition conducted on assigning some fun titles for the Gurus with respect to their personality and traits. Finally, there was a short and cute surprise gratitude video planned for all the gurus that included their photos and titles. All the gurus expressed their delight in joining the event and their reflections on what Teacher’s Day meant for them and how students were also in turn role models and teachers for them in certain aspects. We received applause and appreciation messages for conducting our very first event successfully from Sahadev sir and other leaders. All our team members were on cloud nine and were all geared up to organize the next event with the same spirit 🙂
