5 Minutes Rule

5 Mins Rule has been an interesting practice that we all were introduced to for the very first time. We all had to spend a minimum amount of 5 mins every day on our bigger goal or the ambition that we had for our life. It made us introspect on ourselves whether we were genuinely putting efforts right from an early stage to achieve our dreams or were we merely just dreaming to become something. Whatever might be our goal or dream would be, a daily 5 mins investment on thinking or working towards it is a worth practice that we do to ourselves. How easy does that become to reach our goals if we constantly keep preparing ourselves and work towards it. It is the extra and committed effort that we put into our goals makes us stand out from the crowd.

Our leadership group was so versatile that we had young students, young people, and professionals who were of different age groups. Every leader had their own goal for life. One had the dream of becoming a doctor, one had the dream of becoming a good content writer, one had the dream of becoming a great designer, one had the dream of becoming an experienced and professional yoga guru, and many more.

This practice made us constantly work on what we would all like to be in the future and saved a lot of time which would have been hastily spent to hurry in the future. It has taught us the qualities of making ourselves ready for the goals and not procrastinating in achieving them as they were not urgent but important things to be focused on in life. We tend to mostly focus on things that need to be done urgently and ignore the important things in life. But in this program, we have learned to give importance to both urgent and important things in life, and gave us a newer perspective and learning for life.
